Arrival / Departures

Check Out: 10:00am
Late Checkout: Please enquire at reception for availability and cost.
Early Departures: Please remember to get your car out of the carpark before returning the keys. Place your keys in the key return box at reception.

Air Conditioning

The air con units are cooling only, no heating. It is not instant. It takes a while to cool down the apartment. Please make sure you have all the doors and windows closed for maximum benefit.

Day switch: directs cool air to the living areas only.
Night switch: directs cool air throughout the whole apartment, including the bedrooms.
To change the temperature: Pull open the cupboard door, next to the switches, and turn the dial to a suitable level.

All apartments are provided with electric heaters & additional blankets if required, which are located in the bedroom wardrobe.

Foxtel / Pay TV

We offer a selection of pay TV channels, available through your lounge room TV from channels 101-116.

Balcony Safety

Please be careful on the balcony, as the tiles may be slippery if wet.

Please ensure that no objects or items are thrown from your balcony, (such as rocks or stones) as it has the potential to cause damage, serious injury or death.

Please ensure all children are supervised on balconies at all times.

Any serious offences will result in eviction, and/or referred to Police.


Absolutely no parties: breach of this will result in termination of the accommodation contract and no refunds with be given.

No towels, clothing or others articles to be hung from balconies or windows please.

Children must not play in the basement area unsupervised. This also applies to lifts.

Please chain bicycles in basement bike racks.

Before leaving unit, please make sure all doors and windows are closed as wind gusts can cause damage, and turn off the lights and air conditioning.


Housekeeping and linen service is provided to guests staying 8 nights or more.
NOTE: If extra servicing is required additional charges apply. Additional soaps, shampoo, conditioners, shower gel, detergents and toilet rolls are available at reception if required (complimentary).

Rubbish Removal

A rubbish bin is provided in each apartment and all rubbish is to be removed from the apartment. All guests are responsible for the removal of their own rubbish. A rubbish chute is provided on each floor for the purposes of disposing of general rubbish.

Bottles and large articles are not to be placed down the chute and are to be taken to the bins provided on the basement level for recycle rubbish. Rubbish is not to be left in the Garbage Chute Room.


All apartments are Non Smoking. Please do not smoke indoors or a $250 cleaning and deodorising fee will be changed. Please be considerate of neighbouring apartments if smoking on the balcony.

Intercom System

To activate ‘Press the talk button briefly to talk, tap again to turn off.’ The key button allows access to building.
Press Key button, which allows 100 seconds for entry to the lift, then press floor level.

Security Keys

Swipe cards are used for car park, building and lift entry and provide you with access to your floor only. Please be responsible with your allocated keys and have them on your person at all times.

Charge for replacement key or security fob – $25 each item (or $75 for the set)


Free Unlimited High Speed internet is available in each holiday apartment, and around the pool & BBQ areas.
On arrival you will receive your Free WiFi username & password. *limit on number of devices

To connect, select the network ‘Oscar on Main WiFi’. Once connected, click ‘go to login’ button and enter your username & password.

Unlimited high speed WiFi for up to 10 devices is also available. To select an unlimited WiFi plan, click on the ‘recharge’ button, choose the product and payment method.



BBQ Areas

BBQ bookings are to be made on the booking register in the basement foyer opposite the lifts. Please clean the BBQ after use.

Pool and Spa

Hours: 7:00am to 9:00pm.

Pool Rules

No glass in the pool area.
Vandalism of the pool facilities is taken very seriously, and may result in eviction – please supervise children at all times.

Tennis Courts

Hours: 7.00am to 6.00pm
Tennis bookings can be made in basement foyer opposite the lifts.

Tennis racquets and balls are available complimentary from reception.


Hours: 7:00am to 9:00pm.
Children under 16 are to be supervised by an adult at all times in the gym.

For Hire

Beach/Pool towels are available for hire at $5.00 per towel for the length of your stay.

Watch your Netflix account or any other streaming service direct from your personal device to the TV! We have a number of Apple ‘Lightning to Digital AV’ adapters or ‘USB-C to HDMI’ cables available for use. A bond is required.

Boogie boards & Tennis Racquets available for free hire from reception.


  • 704 Bus: Leaves from Tedder Ave, and goes to Seaworld, Harbour Town & Helensvale Train Station.
  • G:Link Light Rail: Main Beach Station is a 10 minute walk away. Trams depart every 7.5 mins 7am-7pm weekdays, every 10 mins 7am-7pm weekends. Fri and Sat night has a 24 hour service every 30 mins, midnight to 5am.


  • The Friendly Grocer: half way down Tedder Ave – 250m.
  • 7-Eleven: Marine Parade towards the beach – 400m
  • Woolworths Express: over the Sundale Bridge, 1.5kms
  • Coles & Woolworths: Australia Fair Shopping Centre in Southport, 2kms.

Restaurants / Cafes / Bars

There is a large selection of restaurants, cafes and bars on Tedder Ave, within a 2 minute walk from Oscar on Main;  the Southport Yacht Club and Southport Surf Club are another 2 excellent local venues for dining or drinks.


Whether it’s for exercise, or to just get out and enjoy a walk on the beach. Oscar on Main is ideally located only a walk away from some of the below locations:

  • Surfers Paradise (Cavill Mall): 3kms
  • Southport (Broadwater Parklands): 2kms
  • The Spit (Seaway Entrance): 5kms
  • Broadbeach: 6kms
