While much of the local fare is served in the chic heart of Tedder Avenue (along with a healthy dose of people-watching and sea breeze) there are a number of nearby hot spots that should not be missed. The Winey Cow
The Winey Cow is a multi-award-winning restaurant, with their Mornington venue previously voted Cafe of the Year in Victoria & Tasmania and recently Best Breakfast Restaurant Victoria. As champions of brunch, they pride themselves on their beautiful venues, delicious food, and friendly welcoming service. The Gold Coast has amazing produce and where possible they use local ingredients and wine throughout the menu. The Winey Cow is located 5/11 Woodroffe Ave (next to the 7 Eleven) from 6am to 2:30pm daily.
Le Jardin Cafe
Both the atmosphere and menu at Le Jardin are unmistakably French. We recommend you pull up a bistro chair beneath the grape vines and indulge in mouthwatering crepes, lovingly served wish lashings of ice cream, strawberries and cream. The coffee is unmissable too! Hot Shott
The fresh fusion of modern and traditional cooking techniques has established Hot Shott as a five star favourite among locals. Since 1993, this popular Italian restaurant has been serving traditional feasts for families and discerning diners alike. With Chef’s Specials ranging from barramundi and caper linguine to pistachio and sumac crusted lamb, there is no better way to enjoy Italian in Main Beach. Domanis is located on the corner of Woodroffe and Tedder Avenue, Main Beach. Definitely a favourite of Oscar on Main!
